Hubby's weight has fluctuated between 200-150 over the 21 years I've known him. Mine has fluctuated from probably 250-375. He's loved me no matter what. (Well, I guess I should say until this year, I'm now 172 :)

Bottom line? He's never really cared. It's all about who you are. I will say that the sex is MUCH better with 200 pounds less in the bed though. Heh.

Same here -- been married for 30 years (to the same man!), and I weighed more than him when we got married.  I only weighed less than him for a few brief moments when I was doing Atkins.

Good luck with the new guy!

When I was in high school and had a skinny BF I felt self conscious about it and I always remember him telling me one day that meat is for the man and bone is for the dog.  It always made me giggle a little.  My DH has always been smaller then me, when we first started dating he was 6'3" and about 165 and I was 5'6" about 180 and then I ended up around 275 and he's always loved me and being with me and told me he wishes I saw myself like he did.

From a guys perspective, it makes no difference. What my friends and I like in woman are confidence and sexy personality. Most guys are not as picky as you might think. We just love/want the whole package regardless of size. The rest takes care of itself. Go have fun and stop giving it anythought. Like u said he's their- have a fun ride.

Girl, when my now hubby and I first started dating I was 280lbs and he was 165lbs! At miy highest I was 375lbs and he was 220lbs. He loved me for me and every inch of me. Now after VSG I see his eyes light up as I get smaller and smaller, not because he didn't love me when I was heavy, just because he's so happy FOR me. BTW he's 6'0 and I'm 5'5 tall.

My husband always weighed less than me from the time we met and he's 6'3"!   That is.......until now.

His weight has always been in the 170-180 range.  I met him when I weighed about 220 and I gained another 30 lbs over the years.  He says that he always found me beautiful.  Now, I finally weigh less than he does.

It'll be alright Dawnie.....you're beautiful!

I love this thread and am bumping it for others to see.

I was bigger than my Ex-husband and he was always turned on. Like one of the guys said, it's about the confidence. I totally understand wanting to be the small girl with the big strong guy though. But I also realize the only thing holding me back now is myself.

Be happy with yourself and others will be drawn to it.
