Buon Giorno Everyone!

I feel the need to celebrate today.  I started out on the day of surgery as Super Morbidly Obese, then dropped to Morbidly Obese, then Extremely Obese.  Today, I'm just plain old Obese -- no modifiers, no qualifiers, just one word..........Obese.  Only those of us who are experiencing the changes from our weight losses can truly understand how amazing this can feel.

Have a great day!

Ree

Awesome Ree!!!  Count it as both an NSV and a SV...

WOOOHOOO! I totally know where you're coming from.

Just wait until you see "overweight". I keep saying "you're overweight, Candy! Just overweight!" When I reach a normal BMI, I'm going to totally be lost. I've been SMO for my entire adult life before surgery.

It's a SV, NSV and just a plain old victory. You rock, Ree. xoxo

Thank you, Candy!  Yes, I can almost see "overweight" at the end of this next tunnel...........still tens of pounds to go, though, but I will get there!

Just saw you newest accomplishment that you posted on MFP -- CONGRATS!!!  That's awesome!  You'll enjoy this:  the spouse has started gaining weight (and it has accelerated since he started working out) -- can't keep him fed......and here I am losing (slowly, albeit losing).............you know my story, so you know how "delighted" I am LOL  I know that's mean, but............

Some days, it doesn't take much to find some laughs!!!

I always found a "goal" to celebrate every 5-10 pounds. It kept me sane during the tough times because I had SO much to lose.

LOL! You are mean, but ya know what? You'll pass him up and wave as you go by soon enough! xoxo
