Eat Healthy Cheap

I know one of the biggest arguments, at least here in the US is that crappy food is cheaper and more convenient. Convenience is a hard one to combat because it is just as convenient to drive through a McDonalds as it is to wash an apple, but cost is not quite so easy. A Hamburger at McDonalds is $0.99 (and sometimes cheaper) where as a comparable burger at home would cost more. Anywhere here is an article with some sound advice:

Ah, that's a good blog.

There is a correlation between gross income and obesity; the less you make, the more likely you'll be obese.  It's tough to fight dollar menus.

It IS harder to eat healthy and cheaply.  But as my health nazi sister always says, I'd rather spend it now on organics, than later on healthcare costs and pharmaceuticals.

Makes the decision a bit easier eh??
