Gurgling Throat sounds???

Does everyone that has had VSG have the gurgling sounds in the throat following the surgery?

Yes & I still have it at 16 months out. What I don't like about my throat gurglings is that I usually feel like I need to burp but it stops before it happens. So frustrating!

yes, in throat, esophagus, stomach and intestines. Mine was louder and more frequent immediately postop and is less now that I am 3 months postop. Normal.

VSG on 12/10/12

Not so much in my throat but def in my stomach. Every time I eat or drink something, it's like my stomach attacks it. It's not painful, just annoying. I'm 5 weeks out.

OMG!

I'm so glad you asked this question because my throat was going bananas last night. I got up and sipped a lil Vernors (don't kill me) but it was so loud I couldn't sleep. Is there anything we can take to prevent this from occuring.
