The lightheadedness is often from your blood sugar crashing, since you went from a high-carb to low-carb diet after surgery.  It should clear in a day or two.

Keep drinking your protein shakes though - you'll need the protein to heal, and to get your 60-80 g a day, especially at the beginning.

Never hesitate to call your surgeon though.

I use soy or almond milk.  Yummy.

Well, surgeon isn't too concerned but need to keep an eye on what is going on.  It seems if I am not vomiting, running a fever or have heart palpitations, I'm doing okay.  We'll see what Thursday brings.

Thank you again everyone!!!!!  xoxoxox

BTW, a friend of mine sells essential oils.  She gave me samples to use for my abdomen pain.  I seriously am feeling relieved of the pain now.  Can't wait to be 4 month post op!  LOL

Just to reiterate, do try walking for the gas and pain. Get enough fluids to stay hydrated, even if you can't hit your protein goals just yet.

could your light headed ness be from blood pressure meds? You may need to adjust them.

good luck! Please keep us posted.

Yes, trying to walk around best as I could.  Thankfully, I was never on blood pressure meds!  Only thyroid and my Celebrex I can't take yet.  Got up at 7:15 this morning and feeling not too bad.  Felt some energy so did some light things.  Now sipping my hot tea by the computer.  Hope the rest of the day goes like this!  =)
