Try sugar free Popsicles licking them is easier than actually drinking and you get in the fluids best wishes

Congrats on your surgery!!  I just had mine on 1/14 with a hernia repair and gallbladder removal.  I too experienced the same sensation mid chest area.  My DR told me it was from the hernia repair.  I do not get it at much as I did in the beginning.  Trying to get liquids down during my hospital stay was super difficult as I was so extremely nauseated with dry heaves.  But now that I am close to being two weeks out i feel so much better and it really does get easier everyday.  I found that hot/warm tea was my best defense.

I'm right there with you! So nauseous I can't even sip down the water so I've been trying broth and G2 all day which is a little easier. Glad to hear you made it through the very emotional night before
