VSG on 01/14/13

I am 15 days post op and I need to know if I can eat cucumbers yet? Even if I peel off the skin?? I am now able to eat canned vegetables, but I've been craving cucumbers like crazy. I don't want to chance hurting myself, but it sure would be nice.

At 2 weeks post op I was not eating any veggies, they didn't sit well in my tummy, all centers are different though

This is a question for your NUT. doesn't really matter what anyone here did. What matters is what is on your plan.

At 15 days, I was starting purees. I hadn't made it to soft foods just yet. Everyone's plan is different, but my gut says no. When in doubt, leave it out...at least until you have your NUT or doc say it's ok.

It's been really weird... I have not puked once, I have not had any problems with anything. Nor do I want to. Guess I've been pretty blessed so far.

Im 14 days post op and the binder they game me says you can start eating cucumbers 2 weeks out, they had really good ideas of topping it with egg or chicken salad. it dose say they have to be peeled..

I would still have sure with your DR, Im sure its along the same guild lines they all use but I dont want you to hurt yourself.
