Out of my many, varied and WEIRD allergies, tree nuts are high on the list, so yeah... I don't mess with anything almond unless I don't like breathing. Hehehe

I eat oysters...had them on the beach in Senegal over the Christmas holidays, with some fresh ground black pepper...total heaven. No issues. I had them raw. I also love fried oysters japanese style in coconut crumbs...but have not had that yet. Saving it for my goal weight celebration! But raw or steamed or in a fish stew or grilled or sauted lightly should be fine. They have a ton of zinc...and other good stuff. And yummy!!!

What about raw with hot sauce and lemon?  Oysters Rockafeller are a complet meal.  I don't use bacon, just oysters, chopped fresh spinach, garlic and grated parmesan.
