Would some of you post-op folks kindly post what a typical day of eating looks like for you? I think this would be good to see at all phases of the process. So, if you take the time to post, will you let us know how long ago your surgery was too?

I'm 7 weeks out tomorrow.  So far I'm only eating 3 times a day with only 2oz of protein or 1/3 cup NF yogurt or NF cottage cheese.  I suppliment with 2 shakes a day where I put 1.5 to 2 scoops in to meet my 90 gm protein intake.

Breakfast: 1/3 cup NF greek yogurt with a 1/2 packet of healthwise wild berry protein, or a scrambled/poached egg or 1/3 cup of cottage cheese

Lunch: 2 oz of tuna with mustard mixed in, or 2 oz of chicken breast, or 2 oz pork tenderloin

Dinner: same as lunch, with different protien

I do a protein shake between meals

I haven't started incorporating veggies, yet, though I'm supposed to add 2 meals with 2oz of veggies, only.  I just can't seem to fit it in when also trying to keep my fluids up.

I get around  500 cals a day and keep the carbs below 20.

Ok, here goes my day:

Breakfast: protein coffee and four bites of a turkey, cheese and tomato omlet
Lunch: celery and carrot with hummus; goat cheese; three olives; a half ounce of deli turkey
Snack: unjury chicken soup with homemade beef broth (you can't taste the difference...the unjury masks everything but the homemepade broth base tempers the flavour of the unjury so it really works better for me than jus****er); half a turkey liver grilled in a tiny bit of oil (I am trying to up my vitamin A and turkey liver has a ton!)
Dinner: marinated swordfish steak grilled with baby shrimp and scallops - total about 2 oz; oven roasted cauliflower florets - about three small ones; one sweet potato fry (pathetic quantities but keeps me happy); three bites of pear, a cup of tea

8-10 cups (8 oz each) of water or tea or protein drink, today MFP clocked me in at 760 calories, 27 carbs, 33 gr fat, 84 gr protein. That is a higher calorie day than usual for me. I like to stay under 700. But did very well on the carbs and good protein.

I use a small side plate as my dinner plate. It usually looks like a nouvelle cuisine plate. I never take seconds...lol!!!

Can I find these berryprotein packets anywhere? I may be wrong but I'm envisioning like a crystal light packet? Also, what kind of a program is MFP?
