Calcium Citrate

Hi everybody,

My first post - yay!

So I'm about two weeks out from my sleeve and was trying to get all my supplements in order so I'm ready.  A while back, I was given a ton of samples at a support group.  As far as calcium citrate is concerned, I was given a Calcet Creamy Bite in chocolate, which I hated, and a lemon, which I loved.  Naturally, I have searched websites near and far for the lemon and everybody is out of stock.  One website noted that this is due to a shortage in one of the ingredients.  Another website says it is out of stock and not sure if it will be available in the future.  Does anyone know anything else about the availability in the future or a good alternative?  I'm just not sure how the Bariatric Advantage Chews in lemon compare so I'm hesitant to purchase...  Thanks in advance!

Try Vitalady. I think they have them.

I hate the chocolate ones as well. I am having an issue with calcium because I have those chocolate ones and a liquid cream orange one...neither which I can tolerate. I need to find something! I have heard rave reviews about the lemon but I can't stand to buy another box/container of something to hate it.

Try bluebonnet liquid (well sort of yogurt consistency) blueberry flavored calcium citrate. I am pretty picky and that goes down just fine. Two tablespoons gives you 1200 mg of cal citrate and magnesium and vitamin D all in one. I sometimes mix it into greek yogurt. But usually just straight up.

I use Bariatric Advantage in both lemon and caramel. I don't like their chocolate and they have a raspberry that is just okay to me. I love the lemon and caramel. I have auto refill set up with them.

Thanks!!!  I'm going to give the BA lemon and raspberry a try to start.  I had the caramel in my shopping cart but I'm nervous about liking that one.  I'm sure I'll get bored soon enough and take the plunge to try the caramel.

The Bariatric Advantage lemon calcium chews taste nothing like the Calcet!!!  The Calcet rock beyond all others!!!  Tastes like a small piece of lemon cake!!!  The BA chews taste more like a sugar free version of a lemon starburst.  They have a weird aftertaste.

Awww that stinks! I LOVE the calcet lemon. I guess I'll just have to make due and keep my eye out for them. Like I said before, can't find them anywhere right now. I'm just hoping they aren't discontinued.
