so I've already read that this is totally normal and many many have this same issue. but why? why does it sound like bears are preparing to hibernate in my guts for the winter? why does it sound like i have a frog croaking in my belly? why do i feel like i swallowed a bubble machine.....

LOL, I dont have an answer for you but yesterday this caused me some issues.  I was on the phone with a client and she called in while I was slowly eating my lunch.  She called right after I took a bite and the entire time on the phone, my stomach and throat were making all kinds of noises! I really hope she couldn't hear it... I didn't want her to think I was growling at her! HAHA Not good for business.

Im 6 months out and my tummy still puts on its own little symphony performance quite frequently!  Fortunately its normally at night, so only the cat has to put up with it...lol

Because they sewed a little monster into your stomach.  He takes up all the space so you can't eat much and then eats your food for you.  Lots of people name their little monsters.  Mine is Gollem.  He doesn't like my bedtime meds much and complains for half an hour.

Seriously, it gets better the farther out you get.  Our tummies just talk.

so what i am getting from all these great responses is that this is my new norm? what about the belching and tooting?
