WARNING - SEMI NUDE - GRAPHIC - EXTENDED TUMMY TUCK PICS

Well just saw the doctor today and he took my binder off and checked my surgery and everything is healing up great. I am very pleased with the results and its only 5 days post op. Its gonna look smoking hot when everything heals up. Today is the first day I got to actually see the results. Its like a Christmas present being unwrapped. Its not as common to see pics of guys having a tummy tuck so this should be good to give you obesityhelp guys an idea of what to expect in results from and extended tummy tuck. Oh - And I got to say the scars look far more painful than they actually feel. Yes Im taking my pain meds so Im sure that helps but it definitely doesn't feel as rough as the pics look.

BUT FIRST THE BEFORE TUMMY TUCK PICS!

My belly button was VERY sad indeed!

Nice side tummy roll!

LOTS OF SKIN!

LOVE HANDLES GALORE!

AND NOW THE MOMENT YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!

Here are the pics of my extended tummy tuck:

Above is a closup of my new belly button. Im in love!

Very Pleased with my new tummy!

It is definitely an extended tummy tuck - no more love handles!

Bye Bye excess Skin!

I hate Drains but they are a necessary evil!

I guess my first question would have to be, how much weight did you loose?  It looks wonderful, but I didn't think you looked to awful prior to the tummy tuck. My second question is why did you get a tummy tuck, just curious.

About 177 pounds lost. True - I did not look awful before tummy tuck but I want to lead an active lifestyle and things like jumping rope or jumping jacks or jogging were not fun with the extra skin flapping around. Yes I could wear a spanx but thats no fun. Also I wanted to have a nice body with my shirt off. I was very self conscious of my extra skin and no matter how hard I worked at it my skin would always be there to remind me of where I have been. So I guess my main motivation was vanity - But I believe there is nothing wrong with looking your best. And last but not least one of my goals in life before I die is to have a 6 pack. With hard work now there is that hope!

Yeah I felt a little faint myself when the doctor removed the bandages today to show me the results. It really does look worse than it hurts, but its still not fun.

Yeah...looks like you had a run in with a chain saw!!! I don't understand plastic surgery. One day you have these horrible scars and then nothing and a perfect shape! How do they do it??

Hey, you're not looking that bad!  Congrats.

My skin was pulled so tight, that between the belly button to the groin, the skin had turned purple from lack of oxygen getting to the tissue.  It was really dicey whether the blood vessels were going to grow quickly enough and restore the skin, or it would die and go necrotic from lack of oxygen.  In the end, I lucked out, and it slowly recovered, and all is fine now.

Going to have to pass on posting the pictures though, I'm afraid.  Also, my ports where in my suture line.

KEEP YOUR SUTURES CLEAN!!
