Skin Question...
I always had a very large head and face. Even in college when I weighed 130, my face was chubby. I will send you pictures to your private email if you'd like. that is not a problem.
My surgeon who works predominately with WLS patients, said he had never seen anyone with that much excess facial skin. He always schedules the facelift alone and not with any other procedures. He was very surprised also that my surgery took that long. He doesn't use an epidural so time was not an issue.
I love my face work - it's my favorite part of my plastic surgery! I had a stranger tell me the other day the I looked to be in my 30's. I am mid 40's so that was a big compliment After WLS - I looked like I was in my 60's.
Lost 271lbs with my LapBand in 22 months! My Band malfunctioned and I gained almost 42lbs and then revised to the Sleeve 9/24/12! I lost another 140 lbs with my Sleeve! Loved the LapBand and Lovin' The Sleeve!

I hope not to face this issue; but wanted to think about it just in case.
I'm not at goal yet, but with my 90 pounds lost I have noticed a little sagging, however its not as bad as i thought it would be, first of all my tummy is not hanging like an apron, it is tightening up very nicely and so are my thighs, my arms are a different story, but right now i'm happy i'm healthier. around my face i havent noticed any skin sagging. when i spoke to my NUT and GP they both said that with good hydration, exercise and moisturizing my skin on a daily basis will help with the excess skin and i honestly feel it has, the more moisture your skin has the more elastic it is. Everyday I do weight lifting to tone targeted areas and i do cardio every other day, my workout routine is 30-40 minutes a day for 5 days. fter my shower i take 5 minutes to lather my body with lots of lotion and massage it in really well. it can be time consuming but i allow extra time to myself to do this i feel it is important for my skins health and has helped improve elasticity. i drink minumum 80 oz of water a day, when i don't drink enough water for 3 days straight i notice an unhealthy dryness on my face and joints. i hope this information helps and LOTS of luck to you
I am down 147 lbs and have some turkey neck not bad (I am 57) but I use lots of lotion daily sometimes three times a day. My arms (bat wings) and legs are bad though and I think my tummy will be to. I still have another 30 lbs or so to go; I will need plastics but not for my face, I don't think anyway.
