Hi:

Question: Did anyone do colonic hydrotherapy or coffee enemas before

having surgery, and is it a good idea ?

No, and why would it be?  Coffee???

The colon is muuuuuch farther down than the intestine.  Surgeon would tell you to do it if it was a good idea.

Nope. Just nothing by mouth after 10pm the day before.

Edit - couldn't resist looking up coffee enemas:

It's best not to do anything unless your surgeon tells you to. IF they wants anytime of cleansing done they will tell you what to use and I don't think most require that.
