I must be SERIOUSLY anemic

I look like I wa**** by a freakin bus! I have bruising in my back, collar bones, hips, thighs, shins, everywhere! Hubby kissed me on the forehead as he left for work, 3 DAYS AGO, and I look like I have a hickey/bruise from it. Yes. I know I need labs. My surgeon's office kept pushing me off until the 26th. I'm going in tomorrow to see if they can at least put in an order for me to have the work done. This is just NUTS!

If you end up needing to take iron -- I recommend iron carbonyl -- it's way easier on your stomach (I'm the Queen of Queasy!) -- but it is harder to find.  Vitalady has it, as done Amazon (it's made by Sundown).  Good luck!  I've been there, it's no fun!

Be the squeeky wheel. Don't let them blow you off anymore. Low Iron is bad.

Stay in their face until you know what the heck is going on.

Good luck. *hugs*

LOL -- with all those bruises, it may not look like you were on the "winning" side of any battles!  But I think that one look at your bruises and your doctors would have you booted down to the lab ASAP, and send the orders electronically, so they'll be there waiting for you!

Uhh... that's not necessarily anemia - do see your doctor quite soon.  You could have a blood clotting issue, like hemophilia.  In the meantime, take some carbonyl iron!

Adding to Ruggie's comment and totally not trying to scare you, but that is also a cancer thing.  See your weight loss doctor but also your primary a.s.a.p.
