Emotional
Hey Tonya,
I am doing good, I am two weeks post op and have my follow up with Dr.M today looking forward to see if his scales says the same as mine which would be 22 pounds since surgery. Feeling good walking over a mile and half a day. Climbed a flight of stairs the other day and when I got to the top I was like WOW my heart was not beating out of my chest and I could breath and that is only from 22 pounds can't wait to see the rest. I am not eating but only about a oz a day right now of soft foods tuna, salmon, egg salad and getting in two protein shakes a day which I really like I am doing the Body Fortress Advanced from wal mart it is really good and I mix it with 1% milk, I struggle getting all my fluids in a day but I manage most days. I never feel hungry or even want anything to eat, I went out to eat with my husband and he got soup and I ate the broth from the soup, I had Easter Dinner and ate some pureed carrotts. I never really had any pain from the surgery just soreness for the incisions. I did however have alot of nausea the first night but after that I was fine. I have to say that I can not complain about anything. Wish that everyone could have the same experience that I have had. I have also followed the instructions to the T so I guess if you do that you won't have any problems. Any question please feel free to ask, talk to you soon
My surgery is tomorrow too! I'm so nervous. I have this fear that I'm going to go through this major event and it won't work. I'll still be fat. My husband is super supportive too. I don't think I could do this without him.
Everything is going to be great tomorrow. We are both going to come through with flying colors. How long will you be in the hospital? I'm expected to be there until Wednesday. They have wifi at the hospital so I'm bringing my laptop so I'll be able to check on you. Hopefully the two of us will be able to keep in touch in the coming months. :)
