Did a TRX/Spin class.

It ended an hour ago and I still feel like I'm dying. :)

So--good workout, but my fancy armband gadget said it only burned 240 calories.  The puddle of sweat I left at the gym might beg to differ, but whatever.

Holy crap!  I'd have thrown that armband gadget into the pool of sweat!  Spin classes are high octane!  Yay for you that you did it, no matter what your inspector gadge****ch said...I'm sure you'll feel/see results from it!

Yeah.  I just got it a few days ago so I'm wondering if I'm wearing it wrong or something.  BUT no matter what it says, I definitely burned more in that class than I did on the treadmill/elliptical, so I'll keep going.  It was kind of awful, but kind of awesome, if that makes any sense. :)

I totally hear you!  I'm saving that joy for when I lose a big chunk of weight & am ready to amp up my exercise.  I have friends that are obsessed with it!

I love spin and TRX classes. I burn more in a spin class than anything else I do. Some monitors don't measure bicycling very well, unless it is a heart rate monitor. What does MFP pal give you?  Were the classes combined or separate?

I tried spin. Couldn't stand it. I was bored lol. I'm more of a dancer. Good on you for branching out.

I love spin too. You may find in the beginning that the arm band doesn't record enough calories for things that use the legs over the arms but over time it seems to adjust to you and be more accurate. At least that's what happened to me and some other people said that as well.
