I can only say I empathize with you very much right now...

I went for retail therapy and bought myself a "shrink into it" top, and a sassy bra. It helped keep me off the food... who's going to mess up perfectly fabulous clothing goals. *shrug*

I send positive energy and prayers your way that things will resolve soon and you and your family will find peace. That is a lot to deal with at once. A good cry is a great way to release stress and a hot shower or bath can be soothing. Take care of yourself during all of this.

Ugh, when it rains, it pours. That's a lot to handle, Laura, and I'm so sorry.

Please be kind and gentle with yourself. Love yourself by avoiding foods you don't need and focus instead on praying, crying it out, reaching out to friends.

Laura, that is a lot of major stres****ting  you and your husband all at once.  Yes, absolutely cry it out, exercise it out, and talk it out, especially in prayer.  I'm happy to add my prayers to yours and others.  The good news is that, at least in the medical situations, there are treatment plans in place which should improve the health of your dear ones. 

Hang in there, lady!

So sorry that you and your loved ones are going through so much turmoil.  Stress and worry like that make it hard to focus on doing what you must for yourself.  Stay as strong as you can, take very good care of yourself in everyway.  Maybe have some super healthy things available that you really enjoy....strawberries, shrimp, steak....whatever.  I find that if I have the really healthy stuff that I like around, it is much easier to resist things I want but shouldn't.
