I seem to be having not much issue with drinking liquids. I had surgery last Thursday and have been sipping since. My question is can you drink too much? Or too fast. I can out drink my recommended 8 oz an hour. I am drinking mostly Crystal light, protein drinks and beer. ok no beer.

LOL!  Some people don't swell as much as others.  I could drink easily post op as well.  Just look at it as a blessing and you don't have to worry about ending up dehydrated.

If you were drinking too much or too fast, believe me, you'd know!

My surgeon says no more than 8 ounces of fluid per hour.

Damn, I guess that means your beer will get warm...enlightened

Congrats on your new sleeve!

I am 4 weeks out and every day is an adventure.  At one and two weeks it seemed I was a bottomless pit, I could drink and "eat"  my full liquids and soft foods without a problem.  Now I am feeling more restriction as time goes on.  Someone here suggested that the nerves in the stomach need time to rebound after surgery and maybe that's why I feel the difference.  I am less hungry now than I was 2 weeks post op.  I am eating more dense foods now and sometimes after 5 bites I am done.  I am taking things one day at a time and trying to listen to my new stomach.
