There isn't a part of my body that I wouldn't have done if I could afford it or if insurance would pay for it! I was self pay because my insurance excludes wls. I am going to see if they will do tummy ...but kind of doubt it. I am saving up for my arms. It is the only area that I cant really hide.

Just wanted to say thanks. I was a mexico sleever and was sent home with an everything in moderation plan. Instead, I followed the "vets" plan on here. All of your posts do make a difference. Without this forum, your advice, my sleeve, and hard work-- I would not be here!

You look AMAZING!!! I am getting sleeved in Mexico soon and start my 2 week pre-op diet tomorrow. My doctor actually told me I didn't have to do a pre-op diet, but after reading posts here about it helping reduce my fatty liver I'm going to do it anyway just to be on the safe side. So what is the "vets" plan?

I agree, that most if not all my information has been from this site. :)

I should clarify that I followed my doctors food progression plan. Once I made it throught liquid, mushy, and on to real food I switched over. The plan I followed was 600 - 800 calories/less than 40 carbs/more than 60 prot/more than 64 oz of water a day. I also "under ate" my sleeve. I ate to get satisfied but not overly full. With my carbs at 20 or below for most of weight loss it wasn't hard to do. Carbs = hunger for me. I wasnt worried about stalls from the carbs it was the days of feeling hungry after I ate them that I didn't like. This site is fantastic and there is a lot of great advice and info. It is also great to read the posts and not follow in their footsteps... You know what I mean if you have ever read a "I ate a slice of pizza 3 days out...did I strech my sleeve post". Everyone has their own "plan" and I don't have an opinion on any one elses. I just know what worked for me. Best of luck to you! You will do great!

Gorgeous!! Hooray for you and the work you put into it!! So glad we had the same surgeon, haha! I'm also following the 600-800( usually around 550) cal. range, with very low carb. You are an inspiration, thank you!

Garcia was great and I feel like we made a good choice in doctors. His post op diet would not have got me here....I guess I dont know that for sure but I am glad that I went with the plan on here! I wish you much success!!
