Wow!  Absolutely amazing.  I am following the same basic plan you did.  Carbs around 20 a day, 60-80 oz of water and 70-100 grams of protein a day.  I'm curious, did you hit many stalls?  I'm guessing not as you've lost so much in such a short amount of time.

I was able to lose that amount of weight in such a short time because I was 200 lbs overweight.  Someone with less to lose will probably lose slower.  I had periods that I lost more than during others.  I had a few pauses here and there.  The thing is…I just kept doing what I had always done.  I never changed anything up.  The only time I seriously thought about changing things up is when I wanted something that was “off plan” and didn’t fit into what I was doing.  I usually recognized it for what it was and kept on doing what I had always done.  People who constantly change things up looking for a better plan…seem to chase their tail a lot.  I’m not saying that you cant change things up and still be successful but for me this was the magic weight loss formula.  Best of luck… you wont need it sticking with your plan!

Thank you for all the compliments and the encouraging words!

Now that I have reached “goal” the real work begins.  I was lucky and had a specific formula that worked for me in order to lose.  No major stalls… just a few pauses here and there.  I never changed anything up and just kept plugging along.  I have been in maintenance for a couple of weeks and there doesn’t seem to be such a clear cut path.  I’m doing ok but this transition has been harder than I expected it to be.  I have added several people to mfp through this post.  Just keep in mind that my food log is me giving maintenance a shot.  I have increased my calories and carbs each week since entering maintenance.  While in weight loss..  calories and especially my carbs were very low.
