Yeah. I dunno, if I'm TOO strict with myself, I turn into a raving lunatic and then end up eating a whole bunch of crap I shouldn't.

Yeah, I mean, I would never tell someone to start using it if they don't need it or will return to cigarettes, ya know? The ingredients in "e-juice" are vegetable glycern, poly glocogen (the stuff that's used in inhalers) and flavorings - and nicotine if you so choose. Kosher salt. I had to force myself to cut back on salt consumption and only add it to food at my last meal of the day, which for me is dinner. Lo and behold, when I did that I began stalling less often. :)
My demon is snacking/eating late evening when not even hungry- HABIT! Started this week cutting my self off all food at 7:30p.m. only allow myself sugar free liquids after my cut off time - water, crystal light, unsweet tea, etc. I was finding myself starting to slip back into a very bad habit - eating when not even hungry. Can tell the scale is already starting to move again. I do good during the day and feel full and satisfied. Probably saving myself 250-300 calories/ night. Good luck and continued success.

I use half and half in my coffee always did, always will. I gave up the sweet and low about 3 yrs ago, no sweetners. I quit smoking 9 yrs ago, was hooked on Nicorette gum for about 3 yrs..now I am just a sugarless gum chewer- I gave up the gum for and after surgery for about 6 weeks- then started again- gonna quit the gum after awhile....
The only answer I've found is to force myself to go to bed when hubby does, even if he goes early and I'm not sleepy. Sigh...
I take a cup of herb tea up with me and read in bed 'til I'm sleepy. Not the perfect answer, but better than the uncontrolled grazing that happens otherwise.
Sugarfree candy...
I love it. Sigh. The only thing that helps (no, I won't give it up completely at this point) is to put 5 wrapped candies into a pretty bowl by my favourite chair. When they're gone they're gone.

Eating while studying! Thank goodness I only devote a single evening per week to it. I do study during the week, an hour here and there, but Sunday nights I generally study for like 5 hours solid, from dinner to bed. I pretty much graze the whole damn time and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't stop. I stopped trying and just try to eat lightly during the day on Sunday now to make up for it.
Ugh, I totally do this too. I go in to my classroom nearly every weekend for at least 8 hours and graze nonstop. The weird thing is the 8-10 hours I do at home on the weekend I don't graze as much. Terrible habit. (Both the grazing and not taking a day off like ever during the school year.)
