Wow. Glad I don't live where you do then. Hell it doesn't matter to me if it's morning, noon or night I am willing and ready to go all the time. Now if i could get my wife in the same mind set I would be in a very happy place.

You have three teenagers roaming your house and two full time jobs (the 8-6 one and the 6-12 one!), two big dogs, a huge yard and all that goes with all that? I can't wait til all the kids are launched! Then I can revise the timing of various extracurricular activities!!! If I can recognize my husband by then!!! LOL!!

I love that... "til all the kids are launched". That sounds way nicer than my usual "until they get the hell out of my house". LOL!

I know when they leave, I'll be sad and all empty-nest feeling. I dunno. We've been married for 20 years. My kids are 12 and 10. I guess I'm glad we waited to have kids for several years, but we're both in that place where we remember how awesome life was before kids in that we could do whatever we wanted, etc etc. I think most folks that have hit 20 years are just starting the empty nest if they had kids right away so maybe it's a natural progression. I feel bad sometimes when I think about how "awesome" it will be to have our house and lives back. I adore my children and all that, but sometimes I remember those first 8 years very fondly too.

Hmmm... go ahead and judge, folks. I wouldn't trade the kids for anything in the world, but...
