I really don't know if you will continue to lose weight, however from everyything I have read you really need to be more choosy about what you put in your body. I think the whole point is to change our relationships with food and you only have that first "golden 18 months" to really lose the weight.  I think at some point in the future you will be able to have those things every once in a great while, but I think you would still want to find healthier alternatives.  Pizza and fried chicken are so not good for you and I am thinking that eating them at this stage of the game is sabatoging yourself.  I don't know of any well balanced diet that includes fried or greasy foods on it.

I know that you have to change the way you think of eating..I do make good choices..I was asking a question..I did have a slice of pizza today..I ask this so I would knw..I guess somewhere in my mind I thought as long as I stayed under my 800 calories I would be fine..I don't know what to do

I've honestly been wondering the same thing.  I am pre-surgery, in the 2 week liquid diet and all I can think about is when can I have such and such again.  I hope that will go away after I start to see the pounds come off and after I start being able to live a normal life, that I will see that as a good enough reward to stay away from the food that I love for awhile.

NO. Not all calories are created equal. You want to eat nutritious foods. Why have surgery, if you continue to eat unhealthy foods? It didn't work pre-op, and it won't work post-op.

We really have to change our relationship with food. If you are craving the taste of pizza there are alternatives to having a slice or two. Create your own pizza type dish. There are many great tasting alternative recipes you should try.
