I agree we are trying to be healthy right? I know when I did this it was what I wanted and I get so wrapped up in the BMI number.

I think I'm starting to feel the same way really. I want to be strong not skinny! Even though people keep calling me that!

Someone posted a few weeks ago about the body composition test. I had this done two weeks ago and it was so eye opening. I also don't want to be "skinny fat" so it was important to me to find out my body composition. The test was $125 and well worth it. My skeleton weights, 4.8 lbs, I have 89.8 lbs of muscle and 45 lbs of fat and of that fat 12.5 is essential fat. I'm actually in the top 15% for women of my age which made me feel great, and it's nice to know that all my working out is starting to payoff. Its important to remember that we are more than a number on the scale, its what is going on inside that matters. I encourage everyone to do the body composition scan (DXA).
