If going low carb makes you feel like a zombie it isn't for you. Some people find it a natural way to eat and do very well, but although they talk the loudest they aren't the only voices. (Happyteacher, califsleevin and Willlie, to name a few that eat in a more balanced way)

Instead of counting carb grams, try just avoiding crap carbs. Get your protein in, of course, and keep your calories under control, but unless you have allergies or are celiac add in some dairy and whole grains. You'll feel better, have more energy, and I bet that'll lead to more exercise and a drop in #.

Thank you so much I will try it and see how it turns out. If I eat bread which is not often I think I have had maybe 3 slices in the last 9 months it is whole grain I personally think it taste better than white bread I eat yogurt sometimes I still have to do protein shakes to get in all my protein and I have been adding 4 oz of milk and 4 oz water to it. I have been trying to add some fruits into my diet to get that sweet factor not sure if it is the best idea but it sure beats eating a bowl of ice cream or cookies or cake. So I will adjust my diet to up my protein and not freak out too much over carbs so long as I keep them and my calories in check and see how it goes. :)
