Welcome back! Please dont feel shamed, we are all human even after wls. Im 2 years out and fell off the wagon a bit but im glad i caught myself before i regret it. My lowest weight was 166 last year and since ive been creeping back on here when i should be here all the time too like i use to. Great motivation, and we all need it. Recently gained about 18 pounds that im trying to desperately lose to get back where i was.
It gets much harder the futher you are out but ive learned so much along the way. Look forward talking to you on the boards soon.

This forum isn't just for people zooming toward their goal weight.  I'm 15 months out and struggle everyday to maintain my weight loss.  I'm so glad you came back because your struggles and words help countless others!!!!!  And we want to be here to help you! We all are truly in the same boat!!  It's a lifelong battle!  I wish there was a finish line, but I'm realizing there really isn't one.  Welcome back!!!!

So true about the finish line. No such thing. I was losing just fine and got "too" comfortable thinking I had this down. Wrong!!! It will always be a struggle to maintain vigilance!

Yep. I've been ignoring my own needs lately. I haven't reached goal. Time to start reaching again.

*hugs* You got this.

I'm in the burbs of Denver.

I love Durango. We go down to the San Juans a lot during the summer to camp.

Love that entire area.

Welcome back Snowbaby!!!  Glad you stopped back in to share.  Everybody has a different journey, and you just had a bump in the road.  It's okay and I'm glad you posted about it.  There's something to be said for "getting it out" and now you can move on and get back on track.  Know that you are not alone.  We all have struggles and we'll struggle right along with you.

Well...welcome back. My response to these posts is always the same. You did this once! Just remember how you got here. Get back to basics and remember what worked for you. If you have returned to old habits, find ways to break them or establish new healthier habits. When you got to your lowest weight, did you feel like you were "done"? Because despite what the sales brochure, even with VSG or any WLS you are never "done". It is a life long commitment to eating a new way and to exercise and to making healthy choices.

Hanging out here is a good idea because you get a lot of what you need support wise.

Bottom line, get back to basics. Get rid of the things you shouldn't be eating and find ways to keep  your mind off of bad habits.
