Bake cookies that you don't like :-) That's my trick. There are some flavours I'm not keen on, but other people love, so that's what I bake. And everyone's happy!

{{Louisa}}, it happened, and you owned it.  Very proud of you for realizing you didn't want to repeat that. 

One thing I might suggest which might help would be to have a big drink of something right there at your baking station and to keep drinking it while you're working.  You know what could happen if you ate something like that when you already have a sleeve full of liquid -- not pretty.  That strategy has worked for me, so I thought I'd throw that out there in case it could help you as well.

They really are cute cookies and what I would do because I really like to decorate more than bake is buy ready made sugar cookies and a tube of sugar cookie dough for the smaller top part. Then just bake the smaller size tops and adhere with frosting after that you are already to decorate and take to your friend to guard. I'm basically lazy so always try to find the easiest most effective way to get something done.
