You know what? You are about 90% correct. I shouldn't let it get to me. After all, its not me worried about "mean" comments. I can surely defend myself. I have no qualms about it. I have just noticed a few people saying things that aren't constructive. IF anyone really read my post they would see that I am not expecting any coddling, etc. My post op has been perfect, not one complaint. I just made a statement to make those who may really hurt someone's feelings aware of it. I am the nicest, most generous person you could meet. But on the flip side, I don't like smart asses either. So if you can di****well better be ready for a tongue lashing from me. Its not ok to be mean or rude. I should have just said something really nice instead but after all I had read, I let it go. So, you are right, I should have made a conscious effort to respond more appropriately. I really dislike conflict. Thanks for your response. I appreciate it.

On a forum, you get to own your own posts, but you don't get to own the conversation. A forum is made up of all different types of people from all over the world. That's what makes a forum so valuable: different opinions, different styles, different ways of looking at things, different ways of approaching a problem. However, if someone is abusive (or spamming, or trolling) the standard procedure is usually to notify a moderator.

Btw...like I said this was not pertaining to me. I have no problem setting an attitude straight. Just defending people who may have been misunderstood. I see as a bully. Everyone is entitled to see it there way

If you see bullying, hit the little "report" button so a mod can look into it.

I don't even bother posting here.  I'm a newbie and when the "vets" write their funny posts about how annoying all the newbie's questions are I feel like what's the point.  I'm sooooo thankful I am on another board with all newbies and I never feel stupid.  Yes I know how to google and yes I know how to search but sometimes it's nice to have a real person in real time answer a question stupid or not.  I get wonderful information here and I do enjoy reading but I can't see me ever being an active poster here.

Hi! Where is the site for newly sleeved people? Lol. I may feel more at home there. Surely people don't know everything yet & are still pretty mellow. I just don't understand why peopleI feel like they have the God given right to just rip into someone. Oh well, they can have it.

A. Robinson, I had posted something similar several weeks ago and some of the tough love crowd got the knives and pitch forks out.  LOL   But what you are saying is soo true.  You can make a point without being down right nasty.

I agree with you. I was sleeved 2.5 years ago and dealing with regain. Came back to get encouragement to start from the beginning but instead I get a million accusatory questions and talked to like I'm an idiot. I love when people use terms like "tough love" to justify their ****ty social skills. Some people, like me, thrive with positivity and facts. Not derogatory remarks. That just makes me back slide more because it makes me believe I can't do it. It's sad. No one is asking for unicorns and rainbows, just common courtesy.
