That sounds a bit like an excuse in the making "Oh...darn...I can't run tonight because I never put my 2nd pair of shoes in the car...."

Stay motivated...get 'er done!

I have been going to see my trainer and am continuing with my crazy workout class that has no name.  After every single workout, I am completely spent.  Yesterday, I noticed that even my cheeks hurt from the scowling I am doing while lifting the weights and working the TRX.  I have never worked this hard in my life and it feels amazing.  The leader keeps pushing me harder than I ever thought possible and he has promised me that within six to eight weeks of starting my workouts with him, I will be bikini ready.  :)  I bought the bikini and it's hanging on my refrigerator as inducement.  No, that's not strange at all, is it?  I am now up to 40 push ups and 60 lunges and squats with heavy weights.  My goal is a stronger upper body and a more defined rear end.

The funny thing is that the trainer tried to motivate me by saying, " Your body will look different in just a few weeks."  I think I shocked the hell out of him when I responded, " I don't really want my body to look different, I like the way it looks now just fine.  I just want to be stronger, tighter and more flexible".  He told me that he has worked with 100's of absolutely gorgeous women, and that I am the first one to ever say that to him.  He thought it was a fantastic sentiment and a great way to look at things.  I guess that having lost all this weight, I now really appreciate what I have and do not really need total perfection to feel beautiful.  The truth is that even my imperfections are just fine with me, I don't really mind them at all, they add to my uniqueness and don't take anything away from my beauty.  If I sound conceited, I really don't mean it that way at all.  I am certain that there are many more attractive woman in the world, but there is only one me, and I like me.  :)

Not conceited at all and if anyone deserves to boast a little bit, it is you. Attraction is all relative and you are a flat out hottie. Anyway, here is something to take a look at since you mentioned a more defined rear end.

I took your advice and got some nuts to snack on instead of crackers! However, I ate them on an empty tummy - an hour after my coffee- and boy did they give me a belly ache. Better out than in I guess? LOL.

Also, upping that exercise at home while I have the time with 2 jobs, boy my legs hurt last week but it was a good hurt!

I am saying NO to sitting on the couch to watch tv, I will CLEAN! Being productive and moving around is better than sitting to watch tv, no?

On the nuts, the type matters. You would be best off with Raw Natural Almonds (maybe lightly salted) for the good fats and you need to chew them really really well. If you didn't that would explain the belly ache. Nuts in general are good, but almonds or walnuts specifically are better.

No watching TV, get up and move or if you are watching TV, get up and do the commercial exercise routine. Stand Up and Sit down 30 times EVERY commercial break!

That explains it! It's all natural mixed nuts but the majority is almonds and walnuts. Hardly any cashews- they're huge so I will pick them out and give them to someone else, and those Brazillion nuts. I will stick to the other 2 and chew them veryyyy well next time and also not have them on an empty tummy.

And last night I was productive. I had the tv on but I wasnt sitting. I kept busy, then decided to meet some family by the mall- normally I would have said no and sat at home. I went out and we walked around for a good hour. the stand up sit down during commercials sounds great, that is my next to do!

So on the brazil nuts, set them aside, they are a very good source of selenium and you should try to eat one or two nuts every couple of days. Selenium is not found very abundantly in food an brazil nuts are the best source. Selenium protects your brain. So yeah a couple of issue on the mixed nuts, usually they are roasted and they have added oils, if there are peanuts in them, lots of extra unnecessary fats. Try to get your hands on some raw natural or lightly salted almonds and try them, again chewing very well. Mixed nuts also usually have lots of salt which will make you retain water.

Great on the exercise. As I progress through my weight loss I find myself saying yes to things like that a lot more than I would have before.

Thank you so much you have been so helpful with posting and giving advice. There arent a lot of the Brazil nuts in there so I will do the 1-2 every few days. It doesn't have peanuts it has brazil nuts (not a lot) cashews (not a lot and I dont eat them) mostly walnuts and almonds. It is just dry roasted I believe- get them at the Asian Market/fruit and veggie place. They have a whole table of asorted things like that. I will check the label again to double check to make sure it's the right thing I am eating. If not I will pass them along and buy the right stuff. I dont mind if it isnt lightly salted- I can eat them raw natural.

It's great to hear on the saying yes to things! It makes me feel good because 6 months+ ago I would never!
