High protein jello if you don't have access to a boxed version
In group tonight they brought in a sample of high protein jello that they concocted because our store stopped carrying the high protein jello boxed version. It was good! They just took a fruit flavored powder bottle, added ho****er (same amount that the bottle called for) and a packet of unflavored gelatin like knox. Shake really well. Dump into a smallish sized tupperware or something and let set up. Loved it, and I am not even a jello fan!

What a wonderful idea, and I have one of these flavored protein powder bottles calling my name, just need the unflavored gelatin. Thanks for sharing that.

You can also use regular sugar-free jello mix with NewWhey (or other low-volume, high protein "shot") to replace an equal amount of the cold water called for on the box. This was one of my favorite things to do postop to be sure I was getting my protein in, as those shots don't taste so grand by themselves, but 'disappear' into the jello.
