In 12 Step circles that is called Step One, "my life has become unmanageable".  Step Zero is, "This ****'s gotta stop" LOL!  I hit Bottom and kept excavating.

The findings of this study do not surprise me one bit. While I am able to eat complex carbs and whole natural foods (even potatoes) without ramifications, should I put a cookie in my mouth I have to deal with the aftermath, which is jonesing for more before I'm even finished with the first cookie. I find it truly best to simply abstain. I don't always, but I know in the long run it's the best choice. Consider me a slow learner - or just plain stubborn! LOL!

I'm in the same boat as you.  I can feel the cravings just surge through my brain.

Food addicts have known this for years - LOL!  Nothing new to them (to me).
