What's odd is that I see me out there too.  Sometimes those "me" folks ask me what I did to get the result I got.  I tell them honestly.  The conversation always ends abruptly when I mention surgery.  Not a single "me" has asked further questions about it.

Interesting.

Awesome post, Frisco!  I see me everywhere and I have this urge to go up to every "me" I see and tell them how to save their life!  I will never take this gift for granted!  Thanks for posting this, it really hit home!

Yes, I see me and it hurts.  It hurts to know the isolation, desperation, and shame of wanting to be thinner and being unable to get there.

It's one of the reasons I am totally out there about the surgery. I want others to know there is a way out.

Thank you Frisco. I've been gone from the boards for about 1.5 years and had lost my way regaining 35# of my 100+ loss. Today is a new day, restarted lurking on the boards, and I see this post. I needed it.

Glad you are still here, encouraging, and doing well. I hope you are still cooking those awesome mini-meals that I look so forward to seeing pics of again.
