Ouch, Keith.  Heal fast and well.

Yesterday's workout:  outdoor bike.   Today's workout:  indoor bike, because it's raining and because I am not 100% confident and comfortable yet riding the outdoor bike, let alone in the rain. 

However, the outdoor bike has one glaringly obvious advantage over the indoor one:  my butt  is KILLING ME after riding the indoor bike, despite sitting on two pillows.

I am curious about your use of heat to the painful muscles. When I watch athletes they tend to use a lot of ice to muscle injuries. It seems to take away the spasm and swelling better than heat. Is there a reason for heat first?
