Listen to Frisco and Elina. I did the same and it got me to goal. For me it was the last 12 pounds that were a total ***** to get off. I kept calories low, protein high, carbs low, low, low (around 30-40 worked for me), pushed lots of water and exercised 4 to 5 days per week - both strength training and cardio.
I have been mandated by my PCP to lose another 8 pounds (he has some concerns about my LDL trending upwards since I've been off cholesterol meds and thinks further reducing my body fat will be helpful). I am approaching it in 5 pound increments and taking it one day at a time. I have no doubt that I will get these 8 pounds off. It will take some time, but they will be worth it, especially if losing them brings my LDL back to a more comfortable number for me.
I know you can do this. Heck, if I can, so can you. Believe in yourself. Don't let your old beliefs stand in the way of what you can really achieve.
