Riddle me this: losing inches without pounds?
I struggle with my water, too. A lot.
Something I need to get back to is this -- One thing that helped me in the beginning was cutting up a few pieces of cantaloupe, and letting it sit in the fridge in my water, infusing it with a sweet and light melon taste. I don't think much real juice got in the water, just a essence of the cantaloupe.
Keep us posted! I personally think your body just needs a break from the massive weightloss you have had in only about 60 days!

Trying to stay positive and keep my head in the game...

Trying different temperatures and tastes helped me early on. I found that after surgery I preferred warm decaf teas. I still prefer tea, but now temperatures don't matter.
I left the hospital drinking 64 oz a day - it wasn't easy. It felt like all I did was drink fluids all day long.
it does get easier farther out. I now drink 100-120 oz (12-14 glasses) a day.
I also do goals-like getting in at least 6 glasses (48 oz) before noon. I also fill water bottles for the day.
Good luck.
I, too, struggle a great deal with water intake. I usually only get 40-48 oz in per day. I forget about drinking because I am never thirsty. At school, as I am a teacher, I dont drink a lot because I cant pee a million times a day even though I have a bathroom in my classroom. Guess I am going to have to suck that up! Good Luck!
Take heart in the fact that just about everybody has this happen. You aren't unique... and I mean that in a good way! Everybody gets freaked out, everybody gets through it. You need to have a bit of faith at this point that the process works, and that these stalls are part of the process.
That said, you've got some good advice to help minimize said stalls. So keep calm and carry on!

I just recently read something about fat and muscle. You know people say that fat weighs more than muscle but that is not true. A pound equals a pound no matter how you look at it. Now you may be turning your fat into muscle and muscle takes up less space that fat does so you shrink in inches. I have seen this a couple different times in print but I don't remember where but it makes sense to me.
I think increasing your water is good but seriously look at your protein totals and maybe up them a little which will up your calories a little and see if that makes your scale start changing. I know that may be very scary but it made a difference for me.
I have seen the photos of a pound of fat vs a pound of muscle. Volume-wise, fat takes up a lot more space than muscle. So, I wondered, how much volume DOES a pound of fat take up?
I did some hunting around and found calculations that say a pound of fat could fill a container about half again as large as a standard US Coke can, or about 30 cubic inches. A gallon of fat would weigh about 7.8 pounds. (I am picturing a gallon milk jug full of fat - EEEEW!!) A pound of muscle, on the other hand, would fill a standard Coke can (23 cubic inches).
All of a sudden, I am feeling a lot better about why I am shrinking while the scale moves slowly. According to these calculations, I have lost 1/2 a gallon of FAT, based on the amount of weight I have lost (assuming I lost only fat). That is almost mindboggling, and gross. I suppose being in rapid fatburning mode is an ok place to be. As soon as I figured this out, I could feel the stress begin to leave me.
I'm still working on upping my water. My goal today is 80oz.
And, I did come across something funny in my search for more info. This one is called, "uh, no thanks.":

Okay the visuals I just got from reading this are really gross!
But I think you got it! You are doing great but we all lose at different rates which can be frustrating. I know I need to get my body fat down but it has dropped through this process from about 54% to 38.9% so I do feel good about that.

As everyone else has said, be sure that you are taking in enough water.
You should also be sure that your calorie intake is enough. The scale doesn't move if you're not eating enough calories because the body doesn't burn the calories efficiently if it feels like it is not getting enough to get through the day.
Besides that, I REALLY think the cause is losing fat and gaining muscle. I was the same way. I could drop a pants size and not lose a pound. To give you an actual illustration, I finally found the link to a picture that shows you 5 pounds of fat vs. 5 pounds of muscle. When you look at it you will see why you can take up less space but weigh the same thing. Here is the link: http://getfitwithjoy.com/does-muscle-weigh-more-than-fat/
