 My Stationary Recumbent!

Started using it again just last week and was only able to go for 10 minutes. Every other day or so I was able to go for a little bit longer and this morning I went for almost 20 minutes! I was floored! That's not a lot for some people but for me it's HUGE! I have always hated exercise because it hurt - but biking doesn't hurt my joints like pretty much everything else does. I totally understand the endorphin and confidence rush people talk about getting from exercise! I feel like I can do anything! I haven't even had my surgery yet so I know that it will just keep getting better and better once I get my sleeve.

My 'specially-made real bike is getting delivered next week and I CAN"T WAIT to get out on the road!!!! Life is good!

It works if you work it; it sorta works if you sorta work it; and it doesn't work if you don't work it.

No surgery yet, but I did work out today with my exercise physiologist at my surgeons office.  She had me do a warm up, than a 30 min walk starting at a 0 incline and going to a 12.5% incline. Every two minutes she raised the incline like 2.5% or something.  It was kind of a boring day, but oh well.  She's a cool gal and it's part of my mandatory pre-surgery program! YAY!  LOL!!!
