4 days til surgery, I'm nervous!!

I've been following the best I can on my pre op diet and have only lost one pound. I'm getting so scarred this wont work for me. I'm getting really nervous about surgery. I don't like needles or pain I just wi**** was over n I could not feel so hungry. 

it's completely normal for you to be nervous. My surgery is on Monday and it came close to be cancelled today due to illness. I am ready to fast forward to next week when it's all over. I know it will be fine and it will work for me, just like it will work for you. I think everyone second guesses themselves. Hubby had his VSG 3 weeks ago and he's doing awesome!! Pre-op nerves are normal!  Sorry your diet has been such a challenge - it will be a lot easier post op, then you will have a tool helping you out!

I'm the same way about needles and pain.  (I'm sure the nurses were annoyed with my whining whenever I tried to get up out of bed.)  Just keep focused on the end result, and before you know it you'll be home and wondering why you didn't do this sooner!
