Warning - Sobe Lifewater 0 calorie
Hi Keith,
So we can read the label and equate each carb to 3 calories? I have seen many other packages with similar 0 calorie claims. They always make the portion size small enough that they can get away with saying that. I don't track carbs, but having that handy conversion will help me do a better job of understanding how many calories I am truly drinking.

I actually think it is the type of carbohydrate and sweetener. I don't know for Sobe water specfically. But for Vitamin water zero, there are really no calories in it. The sweetener is truvia/stevia plant. That particular sugar is not metabolized by the gut. So while sweet and an actual carbohydrate, it is not absorbed by the body. I checked with two nutritionists on this after looking it up. Both nutritionists said that Vitamin H2O Zero is fine to drink. One said don't drink more than two a day.
My favorite drink, Is SoBe Water, Fuji Apple Pear!! It IS zero calories, & is the most refreshing, thirst quenching, & great tasting drink, I've found! SoBe manufactures several varieties of drinks! NOT all are zero calories! However, their "0 Cal per bottle, SoBe Water" is w/out calories, carbs, or askew serving mumbo jumbo! It's serving size is one whole bottle! It gets it's sweet, From purified steva leaf extract, which is the good sugar stand-in, which DOES NOT stimulate insulin production! It has water, citric acid, vitamins, & uses beta carotene for its color. It does have 15mg of sodium, per bottle, which is nothing, in comparison, to ANYTHING ELSE U COULD DRINK OR EAT!
Ive done several searches to find this drink, & have come across, this poor review, of another line, by SoBe, that does have calories! Today, I have a few minutes, to chime in, defend my favorite drink, & set the record straight!
ALWAYS READ THE LABELS!! Every product out there, w/ things to hide, are trying to do so, by slight of hand! For instance, listing only X amount of calories, in BIG LETTERS, & in small print, on the back, they list how many X calorie servings, are actually in one bottle... Usually, their description of serving sizes, are in complete conflict, w/ what most people, should have a right to assume!
I'm sure you all know the saying! When we ass/ume, they make an ass, out of you & me!! So, keep reading those labels, & give SoBe water, another chance!
