I am 8 months out with my sleeve. I have lost 145 total pounds. I am at the stage where I have another 60 to 80 pounds to get to where I will be happy. I was wondering has anyone here ever done the insanity program? My wife is getting it for my birthday. I think it may be what will get me to goal weight. I work out five days a week now lifting three of them and doing HIIT training the other two days. Any information will be appreciated. Thank you for reading this.

I have not tried it but I have a couple of friends who do it and it definitely shredded them up. Are you not making progress doing what you are doing?

I am making some progress I have been losing inches and the weight is slowly coming off in the last few months. My 6 month check up they told me I am at the point where I need to step it up exercise wise. I was at 43% EWL at that check up.  I also would like to stop going to the gym and this seems like a good alternative. Thank you for responding.

I've done it and liked it.  Are you planning to do the whole workout program - like the actual workouts on the days they recommend?  Just curious.  I like the BeachBody programs.  I also have some friends who have done it and gotten good results.  If you like HIIT, body weight exercises and just plyo exercises in general, it's pretty fun and fast paced.

How much are you eating each day? Seems you are working out plenty enough to continue to lose pretty quickly.

I have friends who have done Insanity as well, they are tore up :)

It works if you work it; it sorta works if you sorta work it; and it doesn't work if you don't work it.

I am losing fairly decent if you look at my stats. I average a little over 3 pounds a week. I just want to get this final layer of fat gone and maybe get a little ripped. I have on a average work day a protein shake in the morning, a quest bar three days a week after i lift, a greek yogurt for lunch, maybe some cheese sticks for a snack and some kind of protein and veggies for dinner.
