Hey guys!! I just wanted to check in and let you know how I am after 2 years. I got pregnant a little too soon out from surgery. I was a little over 7 months out from surgery and not quite to goal. Goal was 175 (I'm pretty tall) and I was 188 when I got pregnant...SOOOOO close! I gained 24lbs, and lost all plus more and was to goal by the time he was 3 months. He is now almost 8 months old and I am a few pounds under goal. Some days I think I would like to get to around 165, but at the same time I am good where I am hanging from 171-176. I have been maintaining for 5 months now, and all is well there. I still have an obsession with the scale, I don't think that will ever go away!

Anyway- I was 288 when I started my low carb diet for surgery. 283 the day of. In total I am down 115 on my average day. I went from a 24W/3x to a 10/12-Med/Large.

The mind game never went away for me, I still think people are wondering why I am shopping in the normal peoples section, and the other day a patient made me take a mini payday candy bar because "you could stand to gain a few pounds!"  HUH?!?? MEEEE. People comment that I need to stop losing. Its so weird to me.

Anyway-  I was terrified of the surgery. TERRIFIED but it has truly been the best decision I ever have. I rarely mourn food anymore unless its like my favorite- Japanese that is just not as good reheated the next day lol!

Sooooooooooo awesome!!!!! Great job and cute kiddos!  I am hoping after VSG I"ll be able to get preggo again. I've had three losses in the last four years and attribute them to my high weight. I do have a daughter who is 4 and want to give her a sibling. :D

I wish I could say yes, but no- I don't. I've been a rather lazy wls person.
