New Quest Bar Flavor - Double Chocolate Chunk
just got my 12 pack of top flavors this morning! I also got a package of their pasta just to try but I dunno, it looks like Tofu Shirataki noodles and I'm not a fan of those

As an Italian woman with an Italian husband I don't really know what possessed me either. I thought it would be kind of like an easy mac thing where you microwave with water and thought oh that can't be too bad. $10 says I leave it sitting in the office fridge for at least a year LOL

I will leave you all to the debate. I just wished I never sent for my free two. I am now making trips to GNC regularly to get them by the dozen. I CRAVE them and find it hard to keep at one a day, even though they are way to expensive. Already got the add for the double chocolate and checked them out on the site. I love the last two flavors that came out.
Well there are certainly worse things for you to crave. Quest bars are good for you. They have a ton of fiber, they are not horrible on the calorie count and pretty freaking good on the protein count. The downside is if you are counting full carbs instead of net carbs they will ruin your day.
As long as you are fitting them into your plan and sticking to your plan, Quest Bars are a good way to get protein and fiber. I frequently eat more than one a day on workout days.
Now if you are eating a Quest Bar and then following it up with a cookie or two or a brownie, it might be time to get off of them. Or if you are eating outside your plan thinking they won't hurt that much, well then they are a bad thing for you.
Your right on all accounts Keith! Most days I wait until that time at night that I am hungry no matter what I have had or not had during the day. I count them as my planned snack and am a net carber, I do count the SA though, so I still am able to stay under 50g carbs.
I also took extra when I went away for the weekend and grabbed and extra to replace meals while those around me had junk lunches . I don't eat anything outside my plan, so far
I just wish I was addicted to something cheaper that does the same. Like plain grilled chicken and spinach.
I'm ALL for Quest bars...the cookie dough usually is my daily breakfast, as I don't use shakes anymore, and sometimes a late afternoon snack if I'm not doing a real dinner. I'm not sure if I will like this new chocolate one though...If it's less sweet than the cookie dough, it may not be for me. I love EVERYTHING really sweet! LOL
