Short women--where do you buy pants?

I buy my work pants at Talbots. Nordstroms will hem their clothes as long as they are not on sale. I just bought 2 winter jackets at Nordstroms. They are hemming the sleeves on one of them for no charge. Last week I bought jeans at the Gap and had them hemmed at the local cleaners. Of course, I have always been short so this is not a new problem.

Also, if you buy jeans at Buckle (pricey) they will hem them for free.
