Complacency is creeping in.

I think for the first time in this entire process I can feel complacency creeping in.  My weight is just fine, but the ratio of crap food to quality food is slowly eroding and subsequently cravings are up.  I have also noticed it is a little harder to motivate myself to do an entire 60 minutes on the elliptical, whereas it used to be a non issue.  Time to adjust!  I am going to keep my cals under 2,000 today (my typical maintenance level is 1600) and tomorrow start dealing with over doing it on the carbs.  I know I do best if my carbs are about 150 (net 100) and lately they have skyrocketed up to 225-275.  Still considered a normal intake of carbs for a normal person, but too much for me.

Know thyself, and if something isn't working be sure to adjust.

Happy thanksgiving and happy hannakuh all!

Sounds like you've got a good plan in place! What do you think changed? Just because you've been at it for awhile or more stress or anything?

Nah, not particularly stressed or anything.  I am an emotional eater, but that is not what this is.  I think more than anything it has a lot to do with my being able to "get away" with poor choices since I would balance out a bad day with some good days.  That has kept the weight in check, but like I mentioned too many bad choices even though the overall calories are Ok.  The exercise is simply me not making it a priority.  During weight loss I was very committed to 6 days a week.  Now, I am Ok with 3 days or so, but the lack of consistency is making it easier to blow off that goal.  Don't get me wrong- still meeting my 3 day goal, but I am having to make sure I don't lose track of how much I actually did and make time to work around being a full time teacher who is also in an Ed. Specialist program AND a masters in science program at the same time.  (Yea, don't ask why I am in two different grad programs at the same time- long story.)

Overall, hit the calorie limit for the day no problem assuming I don't do anything too stupid for the rest of the night.  But I am up early tomorrow and will be going to bed soon so it will be all good

Hope everybody had a great day!

Thanks for posting this.  It's so important to stress that vigilance is key to maintaining the results we work so hard to achieve in the first place.  Hope all goes well!
