I don't know that many folks are thrilled at less than a month out. The first month is hard. Even the second month was hard for me. After about 8 weeks had passed, I was definitely thrilled. It will happen. Be patient and kind with yourself as your body adjusts to your new stomach. I know it is easier said than done, but I've lived some of this crap. Hang in there and this will all be a distant memory soon.

Fluids can weigh A LOT!  I had PS surgery on Monday.  I weighed myself post op, and again 3 hours later.  I gained over 3 pounds and hadn't eaten a bite.  Fluids friend.  The surgeon took off over 5 pounds of tissue, and going into surgery I weighed 176.  Post op, 187.  Clearly I wasn't snacking on Big Macs during surgery- all fluids.  Don't worry it will pass.  You KNOW you cannot be gaining fat at that caloric level.  Just ride it out, stay on plan, and it will work!
