On plan treats (cheesecake!) to help fight the holiday barrage

I've made some sugar-free mini-cheesecakes adapted from skinnytaste.com.  These tasty little treats have been a hit at a couple of parties I've hosted. It's been nice to have a little treat during this holiday season!  My boys like them also! I'm wondering if  vanilla protein powder could be added.

Mini vanilla wafers

8 oz 1/3,less fat cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup Splenda

1 tsp vanilla

6 oz fat-free vanilla Greek yogurt

2. Large egg whites

1 tbsp all purpose flour

assorted sugar- free toppings sugar free choc chips, sugar free strawberry jam, crushed sugar-free peppermints

Heat oven to 350. Line mini cupcake liners with a mini vanilla wafer. Gently beat cream cheese, Splenda, & vanilla until smooth. Gradually beat in yogurt, egg whites, & flour. Using small spoon fill cups 3/4,full. Add a few choc chips, jam or peppermint candy to top. They are good plain too!! Bake 15 or so - keep an eye on them!

I've also made spenda pumpkin pie in a low fat graham cracker crust - really good & helped keep me on track. Also, Eggface's pumpkin soufflé . Can u tell I have a sweet tooth?

That looks nice- do you know what the stats are on the recipe by chance?  Yea, I can relate to the sweet tooth.  Sugar is the devil.

Okay - putting the Splenda mini cheesecake recipe into MFP I got that they were 40 calories each ( not sure I added the ingredients right) , 3 grams of fat, 2 grams of carbs and only 2 grams of protein, 1 gram of sugar.  So not the best fit for our plan but they did help me get through 2 parties and Thanksgiving.  I do want to try them with the protein powder added.

Another good dessert is some pink lemonade crystal light powder mixed into a vanilla greek yogurt to taste - tastes like key lime pie!  A little sugar free cool whip on top  and yum!

I bet a lot of cals are coming from the vanilla wafer.  Maybe there is a better substitute?  I am surprised at it being only 40 calories- not bad at all, especially if it is truly like a cheesecake.  My yogurt option in the OP is a decent mimic, but a long way off from the real thing.  It is good enough to scratch the cheesecake itch though!

I am not a sweets person at all. A square of 87% black chocolate does it for me for weeks at a time. But if anyone can give me ideas as to how to lighten up the calories in caviar, foie gras and smoked salmon, I am all ears! And the hardest part...yeah, what all that goes on top of is usually bread or bagels....

Ah, jealous that you don't have a sweet tooth.  Mine is pretty powerful.  Foie gras- blech!!  I am grateful I do not crave the items on you list!  Never considered the calories of food choices like that, but it doesn't seem like the smoked salmon should be that bad??  Maybe on top of bagels though...

Yeah smoked salmon is pretty oily. It can add up. And bagels...well....I actually haven't had a bagel since surgery but I dream of them every day...sigh...

Cheesecake stats in the OP:  4 ounces, 73 cals, 8 carb, 11 protein... that is without the cookie crust.
