I had VSG surgery on December 20, 2013. As of today, I have lost 17 lbs. I am trying to get more protein in, but it's a struggle.

17 pounds is great!! Protein will likely be a struggle for a while. Just do the best you can and always aim for a smidge higher than the day before. You'll get there eventually :)

You are doing fantastically!  Just like Chrissy said...increase it by a little bit each day.  Just focus on staying hydrated as much as possible right now.  You will hit your protein goals eventually.
