white coating on tongue?!?!

I agree with all of the other suggestions above. But also, a white tongue can also be a sign of dehydration.

Thrush was the answer. They have me a medicine to swish and clear it up. Common side effect to surgery. I did ask Jay ask about ketosis and they are in the same school of thought of advice poster and don't want me living in that state.  I appreciate the comments and shared knowledge!!

I had the same thing happen a week after surgery...it scared me...Came to find out, I was getting dehydrated. I was focusing on protein and not getting enough water in. As soon as I got a half of water bottle down, the white started going away...along with the dry mouth taste!
