Can I take pepto for an upset stomach?

Depends on the upset...my surgeon said Immodium for diarreah and Gravol for nausea.  I would ask your doc though.

I've been nauseous all day.  I only have pepto in the right now.

Pepto is a salicylate, which is similar to what's in aspirin. It can cause bleeding. I would talk to your doctor before you try any new medication.

Pepto is on my surgeon's "don't even think about it" list.

I have a sleepy time tea with chamomile, spearmint and a few other herbs.  I find it helps a bit with nausea.  You can also try chewing mint gum.  I don't know what stage your at but there's always the old pregnancy standby...soda crackers.  

Trust me girl, I know nausea and it sucks big time!

My doctor said no to Pepto since it contains ibuprofen.
