Tonight I made some turkey burgers that were oh, so good. I thought I'd share them!

Ingredients:

1 lb. 99% fat free ground turkey breast

1 lb. 93/7% ground turkey

1 large egg

1 Hidden Valley Ranch packet

3 oz. 2% sharp cheddar cheese

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 and line a pan with aluminum foil.

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl (I used my hands to really get it mixed well).

Weigh out portions - I did 2 oz. portions which yielded about 19 patties.

Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes, or until done (internal temp of 165). If you use the ingredients as listed above, there should be some melted cheese and juice in the bottom of the pan. You could also grill or cook on stove top depending on your preference.

*you could half this recipe or only use 1 type of turkey burger. I use both because I like the stats on the 99% fat free, but it can be dry and doesn't make patties as well. You could also leave out the egg if you prefer, I just find it helps to make better patties. I like Ranch flavoring, but if you don't you could sub out your favorite seasoning also.

As is, each serving is about 80 calories with 11.5 grams of protein, 3.1 grams of fat, and 0.6 grams of carbs. And even if you're consuming 4 oz. the numbers aren't bad!

(I eat it plain - no bun!)

Sounds good! I love the ranch packets. When i use ground poultry,  i add small chopped veggies to moisten the meat while it cooks. I do the same when I make buffalo chicken meatballs. I usually pulse it in the food processor, squeeze out a little of the liquid, and mix  in. Carrots,  zucchini, onions, mushroom,  garlic,  celery.
